Since 42 years, day after day, Yahee stood up against the austerity, which hollows the mountain by hammer and chisel. At last, in 1747, Yahee completed his work, "Hiyoshi no Kiritooshi" (which changes the stream of the Iu River in order to prevent a flood. Hiyoshi is the name of the land), and he had changed the stream of the Iu River, at the age of 97.
